What is Düğün Davet?
A shared planner for weddings, engagements, henna nights and other events: guests and who is coming, expenses, payments and installments, and to-dos, with a chat under each item. Each event is kept completely separate.

Can I use a currency other than Turkish lira?
Yes. Each event has its own currency: tap the event menu (top left) → Event settings → Currency. You can also enter a single expense in another currency (e.g. euros). Amounts are never converted; the numbers you entered stay the same.

Free version and full version
What is free?
Your first event is free, with no time limit: up to 30 guests (people are counted, not groups), 10 expenses (main and side expenses together; payment parts and installments don’t count) and 10 to-dos (completed ones count too). Events that other people share with you don’t count toward this. The free event is once per user: deleting it doesn’t give you a new free one.

What happens when I reach a limit?
Nothing you entered is ever locked or deleted, and totals are always complete.

- Guests: you can keep adding them. Everyone after the first 30 is saved and waits, dimmed, in a separate section of the guest list; they become available as soon as you unlock the full version. If you delete one of the first 30, the next waiting person moves up.
- Expenses and to-dos: when you’re at the limit, the + button opens the full-version screen instead of an empty form.
What does the full version include?
It is unlocked per event with a one-time purchase (no subscription). In that event: unlimited guests, expenses and to-dos; sharing with your partner and family; and, under Event settings → Personalize, a theme color, a cover photo and your own order of Summary cards. Once one of your events has the full version, you can also change the app icon.

Which packages are there?
Full version for 1, 2 or 3 events. Each package gives you that many event credits; the 3-event package has the lowest price per event. Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store in your local currency. Credits work for any kind of event: wedding, engagement, henna night or anything else.

How do I use a credit?
Tap the event menu (top left) → Unlock full version (or Share). If you have an unused credit, the app only asks you to confirm; otherwise you choose a package. Unused credits stay in your account and never expire.

I want a second event.
The free version includes one event of your own. When you tap New event while you already have one, the full-version screen opens first: use a credit or buy a package, and the new event starts with the full version.

Do I get my credit back if I delete an event?
No. Deleting an event never gives a credit back. Before you delete an event with the full version, the app warns you that its credit will be lost. The free event is once per user too: after you delete your own event, a new event needs a credit.

Do the people I share with have to pay?
No. Only the event owner buys the full version; people who join via the link pay nothing.

Purchases
My purchased credits are missing / I have a new phone.
On the purchase screen, tap Restore purchases. Full-version credits are one-time (consumable) in-app purchases; the App Store keeps them in the purchase history of your Apple Account, and the app counts: credits bought on this Apple Account minus the events you have upgraded (deleted events count too). So:

Full-version credits are one-time (consumable) in-app purchases; the App Store keeps them in the purchase history of your Apple Account, and the app counts: credits bought on this Apple Account minus the events you have upgraded (deleted events count too). So:
- Sign in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you bought with.
- Be signed in to iCloud, so the app can see which of your events already use a credit. Upgraded events stay upgraded on all your devices through iCloud; you don’t need to restore anything for them.
- If the app says “No unused event credits found to restore”, all your credits have already been used (deleted events count too).
I’m not signed in to iCloud.
You can still unlock the full version, but then that event (and its full version) exists only on this device and can be lost if you change devices or delete the app. Signing in to iCloud keeps it synced. Sharing always needs iCloud.

I have a promo or gift code.

My purchase is “awaiting approval”.
If a family organizer has to approve purchases (Ask to Buy), the credit arrives once it’s approved. Then tap Unlock full version (or New event) again.

Sharing an event
How do I share my event?
- Tap the event menu (top left) → Share. If the event doesn’t have the full version yet, use a credit or choose a package.
- Choose a 4-digit passcode.
- Send the link (Messages, WhatsApp, e-mail…) and tell the passcode separately.
Up to 100 people can join via the link. Everyone who joins can view and edit the event; only the owner can delete the event and manage sharing.
What do the people I invite need?
The app on an iPhone or iPad, signed in to iCloud. They open the link and enter the passcode; it’s asked once per device. After 5 wrong attempts they are removed from the event; opening the link again gives them one more try.

I forgot the passcode.
The owner can always see and change it: event menu → Event settings → Sharing → Sharing passcode / Change passcode. People who have already joined aren’t asked again; new people enter the new passcode.

Why does sharing need iCloud?
A shared event is stored with Apple’s iCloud and kept in the owner’s iCloud storage; there is no server of ours in between. Owner and participants all need to be signed in to iCloud. If the owner’s iCloud storage is full, changes stop reaching the others until space is freed up.

How do I stop sharing?
Owner: event menu → Event settings → Sharing → Stop sharing. The event is removed from participants’ devices and the old link stops working. The full version stays with the event, so you can share again later with Share link. Removing individual participants isn’t available yet; you can change the passcode (it applies to new joiners) or stop sharing completely.

How do I leave an event someone shared with me?
Event menu → Event settings → Leave event. The event is removed from your devices but stays for the other participants.

Archive and event date
Why was my event archived?
Every event with the full version (including every shared event) moves to the archive 90 days after its date. In the archive, everything stays readable but nothing can be added or changed; you can still delete the event or leave it. If notifications are allowed, you get a reminder 7 days before. An event whose date is more than 90 days in the past can’t be upgraded to the full version, so fix a wrong date first.

I can’t change the event date.
After an event gets the full version, its date can be changed 2 times (changing only the time on the same day doesn’t count). If you need another change, write to us at app@afkworks.com.

Your data
Where is my data stored?
On your device and in your own iCloud account. We don’t run servers and can’t see your guests, expenses or messages. Details: Privacy policy.

How do I delete data?
- A single item: swipe it to the left and tap delete; you can tap Undo for a few seconds.
- A whole event: event menu → Event settings → Delete event (owner only). Everything in it is deleted, also for the people you shared it with. The credit isn’t given back; for an event with the full version, the app warns you first.
- An event shared with you: Leave event (see above).
- Deleting the app removes the data on that device. To delete the iCloud data too: Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.
Someone wrote something inappropriate in a chat.
Touch and hold the message → Report (opens a pre-filled e-mail to us) or Block (hides that person’s messages on your device, for that event). The event owner can delete any message or stop sharing.

How do I change the tracking permission?
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Düğün Davet. Declining doesn’t limit any feature.
